Integration-ready field data

Export field measurements into calculators, estimates, quotes, and business software.

Turn approved measurements into structured data that can be reused in spreadsheets, pricing calculators, estimating systems, quotes, orders, reports, and direct software connectors.

Connection options

Know what is available now and what requires a connector.

MeasureTrace separates portable exports from destination-specific integrations so the website does not imply that every external platform is already connected.

Available now

Structured exports

Export approved project and measurement data as CSV or JSON. Use reports and ZIP packages for human review and project handoff.

Planned connectors

Direct system connections

Destination-specific connectors can map customers, projects, selected measurements, photos, and approved values into quoting or project systems.

Business plan

Custom integrations

Companies with proprietary calculators or workflows can scope a connector around their formulas, fields, approvals, and audit needs.

Eliminate duplicate entry

From the job site to the next business step.

A field employee records the measurement and its visual context. The office receives the same project after synchronization and can verify, correct, approve, or select the exact values needed for a calculation or document.

  • No reading handwritten notes and typing the same dimensions again
  • No separating values from the photo that explains how they were taken
  • No guessing which width or height applies to a specific option
  • Fewer transcription mistakes in square footage, materials, and pricing
  • Faster handoff between measurers, estimators, office staff, and installers
1 · FieldCapture

Dimensions, units, photos, annotations, rooms, openings, notes, and site conditions.

2 · Cloud / portalSynchronize

The office can access the same project and images without waiting for a manual handoff.

3 · OfficeReview & approve

Choose the values to use, make corrections, add context, and preserve revision history.

4 · ConnectionExport or integrate

Use CSV, JSON, PDF, or a system connector/API depending on the destination.

5 · Business resultCalculate or create

Square footage, takeoff, price, quote, estimate, order, work instruction, or report.

What can move between systems

Structured data with its project context intact.

The useful part is not only the number. MeasureTrace can preserve where it came from and what it means.

Practical examples

Use the same platform across trades.

Industry configuration determines the terminology and workflow, while neutral structured exports let other systems use the results.

Window Treatments

Pass selected opening width, height, return, trim, and mounting measurements into a product or treatment calculator.

Approved dimensions → configured quote item

Flooring

Use room dimensions and obstacles to calculate square footage, waste, transitions, material quantities, and labor.

Room data → takeoff and price

Remodeling

Move rough openings, clearances, fixture dimensions, and site conditions into an estimate or scope of work.

Field conditions → estimate lines

General Contractor

Transfer lengths, areas, counts, photos, and notes into project records, reports, procurement, or operational workflows.

Site capture → connected project record
Ways to connect

Start with exports. Add deeper connectors where the value justifies it.

Structured export

Export approved project data in portable formats such as CSV or JSON for import into a spreadsheet, calculator, or another application.

API and connector

Business integrations can map MeasureTrace resources into quoting, ERP, accounting, project, or proprietary systems.

ƒ

Calculator workflow

Send the correct selected measurements directly into formulas for area, material, labor, or product-specific pricing.

Current positioning: MeasureTrace uses neutral structured project and measurement data. Direct third-party connectors will be added incrementally based on the destination platform and customer workflow. The public site should not imply that every external system is already connected.
MeasureTrace field measurements synchronized with an office workspace
One shared project

The field and office can work on the same information.

The measurer can capture dimensions and pictures on site. As soon as the project synchronizes, an authorized office user can review the same photos, pull the values needed for a calculator, update details, or prepare a quote. Later, an installer can access the current information without recreating the measurement packet.

  • Field capture and office review stay connected
  • Changes are synchronized with revision and conflict handling
  • Company access is controlled through memberships and devices
  • The company retains the project when an employee leaves
Example structured record

Use the exact approved value, not a retyped note.

Each selected measurement can carry its project, room, opening, label, unit, source photo, and approval state into the next workflow.

Window treatment integration

Planned MeasureTrace + Ledgez workflow.

MeasureTrace is being designed to connect with Ledgez window treatment business software. The planned connector would let approved field dimensions move into a configured window treatment calculator, reducing the need to type width and length again before pricing, yardage, descriptions, quotes, and orders are created.

Status: The direct Ledgez connector is planned. Structured exports and neutral integration payloads are the current foundation for connected workflows.

Intended handoff
1MeasureTrace

Approve field dimensions and project context.

2Ledgez calculator

Use dimensions with configured products and options.

3Business record

Create pricing, yardage, wording, quote items, and orders.

Capture once. Calculate and create from the same data.
